A Few Words About Jen Cox

I have over 10 years of experience working in a variety of healthcare and public sector roles - from NHS Community Mental health teams, forensic mental health services, private inpatient mental health hospitals and working as a dispatcher for emergency services.

Through my various roles, I have worked to rebuild the lives of people who have struggled with chronic mental health issues. Nothing is more rewarding to me than being able to support someone on their journey out of the darkness and create a life worth living- especially when many of them reach a point where they don't want to continue.

I pride myself on demonstrating an empathic, compassionate and real therapeutic relationship with my clients, which allows for an effective working alliance built on trust and understanding. I have working experience of using CBT, DBT, MBT and more recently the GROW model for my Life Coaching diploma.

Using my skills and experience acquired over the last 10 years I have recently set up my very own coaching business – Motivate Me Coaching. My aim is to help as many working professionals as possible overcome stress and burnout so that they too can find enjoyment in their work and life again.

For the first time ever, I can genuinely say,

I love myself and I love my life.

I want nothing more than to help you achieve the same thing.

What Jen Has to Offer

Personalised 1:1 coaching sessions conducted via Zoom on a time and day that suits you.

After your free Discovery Call, where we establish that coaching is right for you, we will begin your journey with a 90-minute Stress Solution session where we will map out your goals and priorities.

Each following session will focus on moving you forward step by step to achieve these goals. Sessions are available on a pay-as-you-go basis or discounted coaching bundles of 6, 9 and 12 sessions.

I came to Jen to help me make a change and begin to live life on my own terms. I needed help to act according to my own agenda as opposed to dancing to the tune of others and putting their needs before my own. I also needed help to stop assuming total responsibility for everything and everyone, in order to lead a happier life.

Jen helped me to identify what I really wanted for myself. She helped me to recognise what I was and wasn’t responsible for and how assuming all responsibility was costing my overall health and happiness. Jen gave me the tools to get myself into a more confident, certain and

assertive frame of mind. I use this new frame of mind daily so that when my family are posing an issue they have in life, I don’t automatically assume responsibility for solving their problems. I just let them have their moment to vent and let them figure it out for themselves. It’s not for me to fix; it’s their burden. I will help if they ask me; but, I don’t need to automatically step into saviour mode.

Jen’s coaching has given me the confidence to exert these new and positive behaviours without fear of how it might affect others; but rather, with excitement of how it will benefit my health and happiness.

The sessions I had with Jenny were instrumental in my

decision to leave a very toxic workplace and take a leap of faith into working for myself. This was a huge step after being in a corporate environment for 20 years, being a single parent and not living in my
